What a weekend! I was thrilled to attend my very first event, the Sun City Library Local Author Fair, this past Saturday. It was an absolutely perfect day—a little overcast to keep things cool, and the forecast rain graciously stayed away!
I had an incredible time meeting so many fellow authors (all forty of us!) and, most importantly, meeting readers like you. The energy was fantastic, and I’m happy to report that I sold some copies of Catching Qat!
It was a valuable learning experience. While I had my super easy-to-set-up canopy and got some nice compliments on my flyer holders, seeing the amazing setups of the other authors has definitely given me inspiration for the next event. I’m already planning to do more in the future!
New Books in Hand!
Even though the book is still officially on preorder, I was able to offer 30% off signed copies plus FREE shipping at the fair. Why? Because my first batch of paperback copies just arrived! Holding the physical book in my hands is a surreal feeling.
Now I’m anxiously awaiting the hardcover copies, as I haven’t seen a jacketed copy yet—I’ll be sure to share photos as soon as they arrive! Once I have them, I’ll be donating a few to the local library system and scattering some others in Little Free Libraries. Keep an eye out—these LFL copies will be coded with a BookCrossing sticker, allowing us all to track their journey around the globe!
Welcome to Airdaeya: My Universe Has a New Name!
You may have heard me talk about a certain “universe” and an app called “Aetherium” before. Well, due to a trademark conflict, the universe and the app are getting a much more fitting—and original—name!
The world is now officially the universe of Airdaeya. This name is an homage to the upper pantheon of gods, the Airdaes, who created this fantasy universe.

And the app is now called Airdaeium (for Airdaeya Consortium)!
This isn’t just a simple reference guide; it’s being built as an interactive companion to the series. Imagine diving into your favorite characters’ minds, exploring the magic they wield, and uncovering hidden lore.
