About

For 30 years, I navigated the corporate labyrinth, mastering the art of retail and business management. But beneath the fluorescent hum, a different dream flickered – a yearning for worlds woven from words.

Accounting in college felt like deciphering ancient code. Eventually, I traded numbers for skeletons, diving into the world of anthropology at UC San Diego. Skeletons held more stories than spreadsheets, revealing not just the physical body, but the narratives etched within its history.

And then, the library beckoned. Towering shelves became my kingdom, filled with whispered tales and hidden knowledge. As a curator, I ensured every creature of myth and tome found its rightful haven. But the adventurer in me never truly sheathed her sword. Weekends are filled with dice rolls and the camaraderie of Dungeons & Dragons, where spreadsheets morph into epic battles.

This blend of pragmatism and passion fuels my debut novel, Catching Qat, the first in a captivating trilogy, the Drakkaen Nakkla. Six strangers, marked by mysterious birthmarks, embark on a journey across Oram, seeking the meaning of forgotten symbols. Their quest unveils a destiny intertwined with the world’s fate.

My path may have been unexpected, but it taught me that captivating stories can emerge from anywhere. If you seek adventures that transport you beyond the ordinary, worlds brimming with mystery and characters who leap off the page, welcome to my corner of the literary world.

Here, you’ll find whispers of forgotten tales, glimpses into fantastical realms, and the echoes of my own unexpected journey from spreadsheets to scribbles. So, grab a cup of coffee, settle in, and let me conjure unseen worlds, one page-turning adventure at a time.
