Welcome to Oram
Oram is the home of the Adventures on Oram collection within the Airdaeya universe, a world filled with magic, fantastic creatures, and unforgettable heroes. This is the world of the Solitary Comrades: Qat, Qrodin, Llani, Akin, Bell, and Kasaandra, and it’s a world just waiting to be explored.
Creatures
On Oram, creatures are divided into three main categories: Keathra, Umanid, and all the rest. While little is known about the Keathra, who have been nearly eliminated from the world, the Umanids are the “People of Oram.” They come in all shapes and sizes, but they share one special trait: they can all speak Oramische, the unique language of Oram. The other creatures are often simply referred to as monsters or animals, but they are just as varied and numerous as the creatures you find on Earth.
Peoples
While you may be familiar with elves and dwarfs, Oram is home to many unique peoples you’ve likely never heard of before. Discover the ukulu, the hablis, and the abandi. You’ll also meet the danaash, the people who are as close to human as you’ll find on Oram.
Geography
Oram is made up of two continents. The smaller continent is unknown to all but a few special creatures, but the larger continent of Kish is where most of the adventure takes place. Kish is home to ten distinct countries: Alalngar, Dumuzid, Ubarra, Babum, Zedana, Kudurru, Jushur, Puannum, Lagash, and Uruk.
The Birth of Oram
Long ago, Oram was born to the deities Qie and Veri, alongside its three moons: Kuu, Isa, and Uman. Each moon has a unique personality: Kuu is the gentle Moon Goddess of Love, Isa is the Moon Deity of Cunning, and Uman is the fierce Moon God of War. While the gods are now a distant memory, their influence still echoes throughout the world. Oram, known for his great wisdom, gave his name to the planet, and his half-sister, Leha, became known as the Goddess of Creation, for she was given the power to bring life to Oram’s creatures.
Welcome to this incredible world. We’re glad you’re here.
